MAF Companies

MAF Companies, a risk management marketing organization located in Oak Brook, IL, recently appointed William T. Cook, JD, as advanced marketing director, specializing in areas of wealth transfer and estate planning through conservative yet creative planning, utilizing life insurance products.

In recent years, Cook has worked independently as an advisor to financial planners, CPAs, attorneys and life insurance professionals to bring innovative and proven strategies. From 1991 to 1999, he was an independent insurance producer, with offerings ranging from health insurance to sophisticated wealth transfer techniques.

In 1999, Cook joined American International Group as sales director in charge of the Sun America Group of broker/dealers for a five state area in the Midwest. He holds a JD degree from John Marshall Law School and a BS in marketing from Northern Illinois University.
