    Agents Support Group recently celebrated its 33rd anniversary as a brokerage general agency in the New York metropolitan area.

    ASG, as the organization is known, has grown from a firm of three people to a firm with more than 25 employees, many of whom have been with the company for more than 20 years. Today there are three U.S. offices in New York state, as well as one in the Cayman Islands. The main office is in New York City and the others are in Great Neck and Westchester.

    ASG, a member of LifeMark Partners, has a full service life department, as well as annuity, DI, LTC and international divisions, and specializes in estate planning and jumbo large capacity risks, as well as foreign national business.

    Principals of ASG include founder Sam Kaufman, who was later joined by Jay Scheiner, who runs the Great Neck office, and Gary Bleetstein. With a full-time medical director on staff, state-of-the-art technology systems and an exceptional underwriting staff, ASG has a rich history.
